About
By day, I’m a senior developer. Though, in all honesty, I don’t really write code anymore—I let AI do that for me. By night, I navigate the beautiful, unpredictable chaos of raising three boys.
My interests have always shifted wildly. I’ve gone through intense phases of being obsessed with sports, diving into creative projects, and playing the saxophone. These days, I usually find myself somewhere in the middle of it all, taking a step back to look at the sheer absurdity of modern life. We build incredibly complex technologies to make things easier, yet somehow end up more stressed than ever.
Since I already trust AI to write my code, I decided to see if it could help me figure out the human condition, too.
Why “Candy & Code”?
This blog is an ongoing, slightly ironic dialogue between a human and a machine.
- 🍬 The Candy: That’s us. Human beings. Messy, creative, and driven by entirely illogical desires (like eating a bag of gummy bears just to cope with a Tuesday).
- 💻 The Code: That’s the AI. Cold, structured, indifferent silicon that somehow perfectly mirrors our existential questions back at us.
Candy & Code is a collection of late-night thoughts, philosophical deep dives, and everyday observations. It’s a human trying to figure things out, and a machine just predicting the next word.
Welcome to the absurdity.
